I have found that a Wiki is simply a place to find and share information.
I think this could especially useful for Library staff to share information, post how to manuals & things like that. If you work in a one person branch (lots of country libraries do) I think it's a great idea for those staff to find out things that they may not know about.

Web 2.0 & Library 2.0....Mmmmmm, I really am still unsure what to think about it yet. I can see some benifits of using Library 2.0. It's a great way of reaching out to people through the web. BUT, is it just a phase? How long is it going to be before library staff get sick of blogging?? It requires updating and time (albet, just 15minutes) I don't know, maybe i'm just being very closed minded - rather than see the potential, i'm just seeing the work it could cause. I really think i need to research it more - I am still in two mids about it all.

Have just been looking at tagging on Del.icio.us and think this is a great idea. Especially if you use multiple PC's!! I think it's a great way of creating accesible bookmarks for you to use & share with friends.
TECHNORATI - I have discovered, is the ultimate place for blog-a-holics to go. It is like a 'Google' for blogs!!

Once I started playing with Rollyo, I realised that I had used sites like this before & didn't like them. I think limiting yourself to just your favorite sites means you don't get to explore other websites that may give you the best information you're after.
